Burnt drawing, 2023

series of drawings depicting the catastrophe enrolling:

Once upon a time, there lived a creature. It loved the sun and green, juicy plants to chew. Later, it died. The whole world of those creatures was gone, too. Today, all of our, the people’s, modern civilisation is built on creatures' fossilised food and their remains. All our comfort is based mostly on fossil oil, so-called black gold. It’s our blessing and a great gift.

Despite this generous giving, we still have troubles. The blessing turns out to be a curse, as the oil will end one day. We have power issues in sharing the resources. And we hurt the planet while sucking that gift out. We are stuck in wars. We are getting used to murders and war crimes. Again, the blessing turns out to be a curse. It’s like a projection of a black fossil oil pool — a big black hole above our future. The black wounds in the delicate humanity canvas.
